Franklin Restaurant Group

As a founding partner of the Franklin Restaurant Group, Maureen McLaughlin oversees the design and development of new and existing concepts for the growing hospitality group.

Since Maureen’s teenage days waiting tables at the famous Spear House in her hometown of Lowell, she developed a tremendous industry following and a cache of awards for being one of Boston’s best bartenders. Maureen is credited with creating an eclectic and lively bar scene at some of the city’s most beloved and revered restaurants, including Montana’s, Division 16, Commonwealth Grill, and Anchovies. It was behind these bars where Maureen cultivated a loyal South End following, which was the driving factor behind teaming up with FRG co-founder David DuBois to open the Franklin Cafe in 1996.
